Dr. Shefali Samir Bhujbal

Shefali was born and brought up in a middle-class Brahmin family in Mumbai. Her love for education started in her early years. She completed her B.Sc in Botany. She has also done her MA in Sociology, enhancing her knowledge and understanding of social issues and their impact on society. To further her curiosity, Shefali has completed 6 contacts of the Post Graduate Program in Development Management at S.P Jain in Mumbai. She is dedicated to achieving higher levels of excellence in her field. Post marriage also her quest for knowledge continued and she completed a Masters in Marketing Management from Mumbai University. She has completed her PhD in Social Responsibility with a focus on the betterment of society and is currently in process of completing her second Ph.D on the topic of “Impact of Spirituality in Organizational Growth” from Pune University.
Dr. Shefali Bhujbal has over 10 years of experience in the shipping and export industry. She has held various positions such as Purchase executive to business development manager at Safe Technical Supplies Co LLC, Sales Executive at Davic Ship Management (India) Private Limited, Project Management Associate at K.J.M.C. Financial Services Limited, and Assistant to the Board at Adventure Plantation. She has worked in these roles from 1995 to 2005.
Dr. Shefali Bhujbal has also been a financial advisor with Max Life Insurance Co. Ltd since 2005. and has been awarded for bringing in the highest profit for the company in the year 2008 in Maharashtra and the third highest in all of India. She was the President of the International Conference from Max Life in 2006, which was held in Colombo. The feathers in her cap include the 12th highest rank in agent advisors of Max New York Life Insurance.In addition, the company has included her profile in the prestigious book of ‘ACES’ to inspire budding advisors.
Shefali’s broad educational foundation has not only helped her shape an exceptional life for herself, but has benefited society in a great way. Under the stronghold of the Bhujbal Foundation, MET-BKC Seva and MET Arpan Wing, she has been instrumental in the adoption of a number of villages around Nashik district. With an aim of holistic development of the village which includes upliftment of the downtrodden via education, self-sufficiency and provision of better infrastructure facilities she wishes to build a life worth living for the less privileged.
As a strong believer of ‘Nishkam Karmayoga’, she is working relentlessly in the field of Management and Technical Education, Environment Protection and also serving as a helping hand to small Self Help Groups
